Rathcluan House is over 200 years old and was built in the baronial style as a family home. During the last two years it has been totally refurbished and is run by the family. Guests become a member of this family during to their stay and nothing is too much trouble! The house is surrounded by Duffus Park – originally the ‘grounds’ of the house. Tennis, bowling and cricket can be watched in the park during the summer months. The house nestles amidst the rolling countryside of the Kingdom of Fife – with nearby attractions such as the Scottish Deer Park on the doorstep and the attractive fishing ports of Crail and Anstruther only 20 minutes drive away. National Trust properties such as Kellie Castle and Falkland Palace are within easy reach of the house as is Scone Palace and the interesting and attractive city of Perth.
